Chad Roberts, O.D. Optometric Physician
Kind, caring and resourceful, Dr. Chad Roberts, an Idaho native, fell in love with the Tetons more than 20 years ago. Dr. Roberts has maintained his current facility since 2004 and recently acquired full ownership in 2007. Dr. Roberts has a great repoire with his patients and many seem to love coming back year after year. Utah State University gave him great knowledge in the undergraduate areas but most importantly Dr. Roberts' optometric education came from the highly ranked Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Traversing Pacific's clinics in Portland, Oregon gave him great knowledge in the area of eyecare diseases as well as great refractive expertise. If you are worried about diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and how diabetes and high blood pressure affects the eyes come see him. Dr. Roberts' other specialties include managing ocular surface disease, which involves dry, burning or watery eyes. He does great refractions and guarantees every one, which means you will see much better regardless of whether you wear contacts or glasses. Dr. Roberts maintains a co-managing relationship with the best LASIK and cataract surgeons and can expertly manage pre and post-op conditions. Dr. Roberts believes in quality eyecare of all aspects and tries to ensure that everybody has a higher quality of life after each visit.
Dr. Roberts feels at home in the outdoors and loves fishing, boating and hunting. He has recently taken up photography as well and has found many interesting similarities between the way the eye and the camera process light. He loves spending time with his 4 children and wife in various outdoor settings. He also recently, donned a scoutmaster's uniform and you might find him along one of the many hiking trails trying to keep up with an energetic bunch of boys scouts. |

Teresa Roberts Office Manager
Effective, knowledgeable and helpful, Teresa has been in management for several years. As the wife of Dr. Roberts she has a keen interest in maintaining Hole Family Eyecare to the highest standards. Teresa thrives on the puzzle of systems and making them work in a way that benefits not only the practice but everybody involved including our esteemed patients. Teresa also enjoys taking on the challenging insurance environment and helps us keep in tune with their requirements. Teresa is very fond of Jackson and the surrounding area, falling in love with it on her honeymoon. When she is not wrestling insurance companies, Teresa can be found with her kids taking them to events or just being home as a mom. Teresa loves gardening, camping and boating especially if her kids find enjoyment in it as well. |

Karen Smith Optician
Endearing, kind and patient, Karen has been an eyecare anchor to the Jackson community for 15 years. She stands tall in the optical world helping many people out of their visual difficulties. Karen is CPO trained and understands all the nuances between a lens and the work environment. People continually flock to this practice because of Karen's trust and care and not necessarily because of what the good doctor does. She got her feet wet as an optician with Dr. Corrie Lovercheck and started working with us when he shut his doors in 2004. She was born and raised in Ohio and moved to Jackson 31 years ago with her husband as a newlywed. Karen has two daughters, one with a grandson and the other with a granddaughter. She loves gardening, evening walks and the warmth of a good fireplace while listening to a grandchild tell a story. "I love being an optician and working with the public." |

Brianna Green Optometric Technician
Honest, positive and hard working Brianna is our Paraoptometric. Brianna is a native to Alta, Wyoming and her family are long term residents here. She fills the niche as an optometric technician performing all patient work-ups and generally assisting the doctor. She is trained as a certified paraoptometric and is currently studying to advance her field even further. Brianna operates all pieces of equipment and manages all the contact lenses. Brianna enjoys spending time with her three pups and when she's not at work you will see her outside with them. She is also drawn to her yard and loves to make her house a home. "I love learning about the eyes and helping people to see better." |

Marilyn Garcia Front Desk Coordinator
Bright, friendly and eager to help, Marilyn is the newest addition to the Hole Family EyeCare team. Marilyn is also a returning employee having spent many months with us under the preceding name of Vision Arts. If a sweet smile and mildly southern voice rings a bell in your mind then you will know why. Marilyn is organized, capable and can help you with all your appointment and billing needs. She is also fluent in Spanish and can translate as well. Marilyn loves animals especially horses and loves to ride in the mountains surrounding our beautiful Jackson Hole. She is rooted in the Latin community and is a very accomplished Cumbia dancer which might be similar to Salsa in origin. Marilyn is happy to be back with us where she can help people see better. |
